Gay Games is a sporting and cultural festival which promotes diversity, inclusion and tolerance. The Gay Games 2022 will be held in Hong Kong and we are recruiting now for key members of our management team.


More about the Gay Games Hong Kong 2022

The Gay Games is built upon the principles of Participation, Inclusion and Personal Best.  Based on these values, since 1982, the Gay Games have brought together people from all over the world, with diversity, respect, equality, solidarity and sharing.  The Gay Games is open to participants of all ages, experience levels, sexual orientation and physical ability.

The Gay Games Hong Kong 2022 will be the 11th Gay Games and will be held in November 2022.  36 sports and 11 cultural activities are planned to include more than 10,000 participants.

The Director of Fundraising is responsible for developing and execution of the fundraising strategy to raise the required funds (corporate and individual sponsors) for organising Gay Games Hong Kong 2022. The Director will be a member of the Gay Games Hong Kong management team and a key element of the role will be to build on the efforts of current team members who have focused on fund-raising to date.

The Project Manager oversees and tracks the progress of the different workstreams to ensure the overall delivery of Gay Games Hong Kong in November 2022 event is on track. The Project Manager is part of the PMO team and member of the Management Team.

Sports Coordinators and Managers

As we ramp up towards GGHK 2022, we are now building out our Sports team and looking to recruit volunteer Sports Coordinators for the 36 sports. These roles will be key in the planning and execution of the respective sporting events, and liaising closely with local and international sports associations.

The Head of Information Technology (IT) will support IT systems and users, installs computer systems and software, and maintains computer networks and connectivity. The Head of IT will also work closely with external service providers to evaluate systems needed to integrate with established and developing infrastructure. The Head of IT will report to the Director Finance.

The objective of the Safety and Security Lead is to create and maintain a safe and secure environment for participants, volunteers and spectators of Gay Games 11 Hong Kong 2022 by establishing and implementing safety and security policies, procedures and plans. To accomplish this, the lead will be working together with relevant Hong Kong public services and other service providers and stakeholders.

Government Relations lead

The Director of Government Relations will formulate and execute the strategy of engaging, educating and gaining support from various Hong Kong S.A.R. Government and Government related organizations about Gay Games 11 Hong Kong 2022.  This position will work closely with the Directors of Sports, Community OutReach, Marketing/PR , and the Security team to ensure they are getting the appropriate support from the necessary  Government and Government related organizations.
